Six pillars for a healthier Markham
Read the HEALTH platformFor ten years I have helped Markham families get healthier, one person at a time. My team and I have trained more than 6,000 residents, and I have worked alongside local doctors, clinics, and community health providers. Born in Guangzhou and studying health science in Canada from age 16, I bring a weekly practice of listening to people where they live. I am running for Ward 2 council to bring that same practical, close-to-the-ground care to the decisions that shape our neighbourhood.

What Ward 2 residents face

Ward 2 neighbours share six pressure points: preventive care that fits language and culture, long family-doctor waits, scarce culturally adapted eldercare, housing and development anxiety, everyday safety fears, and a councillor who feels far from the street.

A decade of health, brought to the council table
I hold a health-science degree from Simon Fraser University and have spent my career in community and personal health, partnering with clinics and training thousands of Markham residents. That experience is what Ward 2 needs on council: someone who understands how people actually reach care, and who will advocate for it.
